What is your price range?

Standard price range for long dresses is £1500-1800, short dresses £650-800 and skirts and tops £220-800. Any alterations are charged separately. You can also design your own dress. Bespoke dresses start from £2300. You can read more about pricing here



APPOINTMENTS

 

Can I come and try on the designs?

Yes, we would love to see you at our showroom in South London. Book your appointment here. Read more about your experience at our showroom when booking an appointment here.

 

Do you charge for the appointments?

You can secure an appointment with a £20 fee, which is redeemable against purchase. Any appointments booked after an order is placed are included in the service.

 

How long is the appointment?

The appointment is 1 hour. Please arrive at your appointment on time as we meet brides back to back and are not able to facilitate any early arrivals. If you do arrive early however, we suggest you pop in to our neighbours Cafe van Gogh to have a cuppa and a piece of their delicious vegan cakes.

 

Can I bring guests to my appointment?

You are very welcome to bring guests with you. Due to the space we recommend bringing a maximum of 4 guests. Please note that our facilities are not accessible with most mobility devices or buggies. 

 

Can I take pictures or do a video call during my appointment?

Yes, we allow pictures and video calls and can help you with this if you arrive at your appointment alone.



DRESSES

 

Are the dresses made to measure?

Our dresses are not made to measure by default. This is because some of our dresses are loose fitting and don’t require to be made according to the bride's measurements. You can have the dress made according to your measurements with an extra £450.

 

What is your size range?

Our standard sizing goes from UK8 to UK20. Note that bridal sizing differs from high street sizing. If you usually wear a size 10 on the high street, you are most likely to be size 12 or even 14 when it comes to bridal sizing. See our size guide before placing an order and let us know if you have any questions about the sizing.

 

Do you offer alteration service?

We offer a full alterations service. Any alterations are charged separately. You can read more about our alteration service here.

 

Can I change the dress styles?

Yes you can. We make the dresses in our London studio and therefore can accommodate any requests and even make bespoke dresses. Where are your materials made?

Mostly in the UK and Italy but also in France, China and Germany.

 

Where are the dresses made?

All our dresses are handcrafted in our studio in South London.

 

What is the turnaround time?

As the dresses are made to order the usual turnaround time for long dresses is 5 months, skirts and tops 10-12 weeks and accessories 4 weeks. However, we are able to prioritise orders and have the items ready earlier. This requires special arrangements and a priority order fee of £100-200 might be charged. How do I store and care for my dress?

Dry clean your dress after the wedding as soon as possible. Then fold it nicely and store it in a box. Do not hang your dress as it might stretch over time.



PLACING AN ORDER

 

How do I buy a dress?

You can place an order at the showroom or by emailing us at info@indiebridelondon.com.

 

Can I pay in instalments?

You can pay in two instalments. However, we require the dress to be paid in full before we start making it. If you wish to pay in instalments we’ll send you two separate invoices.

 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you have 48 hours to cancel your order. If you wish to do so, please email us on info@indiebridelondon.co.uk. After 48 hours, your order is processed and materials ordered so a full refund is not possible anymore.
