How to order
The easiest way to order is through our website. Simply browse the collection, make your choices and pay online through our secure server. You are also more than welcome to come and see us in our London studio.
We accept payment online by Visa, Mastercard and Maestro.
If you wish, you can pay in two instalments. When we receive the first payment, we will order materials for the item. The second and final instalment is due in one month after the first one. We will put the order in production calendar once we have received the full payment. We require full payment before we start any work on the item. If you wish to pay in instalments the payment should be made as a bank transfer.
All dresses, tops and skirts ordered online are made-to-order in UK sizes 8-16 or S-XL unless you have paid for alterations or the made to measure fee. This means they might require some alterations to fit perfectly. Alterations are not included on the price in our standard size items, they are billed separately.
For sizing information, we suggest you check our size guide, located also as a tab on each item in our shop area and in the footer menu. Please note, the measurements are not garment measurements but body measurements. Note that bridal sizing differs from high street sizing. If you usually wear a size 10 clothes from the high street, you are most likely to be size 12 or even 14 when it comes to bridal sizing.
If you are between sizes, we suggest you order the larger size when the sizing is 8-16 and the smaller size when the sizing is S-XL. Indiebride London is not responsible for inaccurate size ordering, or an incorrect size due to a customers change in size during dress production.
Alternatively, if you have a change to come for fitting in our showroom in London we can make the dress according to your measurements. This will be an additional £450. The item will then be made according to the measurements taken in our showroom. If the dress doesn’t fit nicely because the customer’s measurements have changed Indiebride London is not responsible for altering the dress free of charge but an additional alteration fee is charged.
If you have visited our showroom in London and have tried on our samples, please be aware that the showroom samples have been tried on multiple times, dry cleaned and they have been displayed on a hanger so some stretching of the fabric might have taken place, which will sometimes slightly change the fit of the sample dress and the size of them might not be accurate anymore. The fabrics of the sample dresses will also appear softer as this is due to dry cleaning and natural softening of the fabrics.
Alterations / Customisation
If you have chosen a customised / bespoke item or the made-to-measure option, the item will be made according to your specification. Please note, all further alterations that are not written on the receipt, will be billed separately. These options usually require 1-3 fittings except for very minor alterations.
If you have chosen made to measure service the item will be made according to the measurements taken at the studio. If your measurements change after this, we are not liable to make the adjustments free of charge and additional alteration fee is charged. If you are looking to lose weight, we advise you to wait until you have reached your goal. If you have any questions about the sizing or alterations, please, don’t hesitate to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or on +44 (0)207 735 4678.
Any alterations should be communicated during the consultation or fitting. We will not alter the dress according to pictures. Please, make sure that during the consultation or fitting you communicate any alterations you would like to have done so that we can mark them on the dress and make them accordingly.
Please note, if the measurements have been taken incorrectly by someone outside Indiebride London, we are not liable to make any alterations / changes to the item.
