70's Style Retro Wedding

"Stratton Court Barn offers such a gorgeous and intimate backdrop for weddings and our updated colour palette of mustard, blush and green suited the creamy stone walls perfectly. The stylist Katie, from The Vintage House That Could, had these amazing large vintage lampshades which formed the basis for the rest of the decor. I created a vibrant mix of floral arrangements, including a number of locally grown blooms, which were designed to be repurposed throughout the ceremony and reception areas. Anna (Anna Jayne Designs) made a bespoke floral table runner to match her stationery and the tableware. Charlene of Cherry Tree Cakerie created the retro inspired cake and expertly hand painted big bold flowers on and created intricate wafer paper chrysanthemums. So much incredible detail went into the set-up!

We couldn’t have a 70’s styled shoot without a VW Campervan and we were lucky to be joined by Lottie, a lovely cream coloured camper full of props and personality! We took Lottie to a field behind the barn and set up a relaxed picnic area nearby, demonstrating both an indoor and outdoor wedding set-up."
